I figured I should follow up on my earlier blog entry about the unnamed baby. Hopefully, by now everyone has heard via the proper protocol, so here goes… Brad and Jeanette have named their daughter: Maia. Lovely choice of name, we think.

Thanks to a few comment spam countermeasures some clever bloggers devised, I was able to turn comments back on. I’m going to try it without moderation to start, but we’ll see how things go.
Jeanette and Brad have had their baby!
Well, the word is in. Claire’s sister Jeanette and her husband Brad have a lovely new baby girl. The as-yet-unnamed bundle of joy is in good health, and weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces upon her arrival at 4am this morning. Congratulations!
