Intermediate or Senior Consultant Business Analyst / Product Owner

We are looking for a curious, thoughtful and driven business analyst and scrum product owner to help delight our automotive industry clients in the areas of customer experience, program management and software development.

This will be a contract position initially with possibility of full-time, reporting to the principal consultant. Work will be primarily performed remotely / from home. Bilingual DEALER EXPERIENCE & TECHNOLOGY ANALYST

PRES Innovation Inc. is a technology and product design consultancy providing nimble solutions for enterprise clients. We work with major auto manufacturers and sometimes with other industries, ultimately in support of customer experience, acquisition and retention.

We are looking for a resourceful, versatile and reliable project analyst to help delight our automotive industry clients in the areas of technology and marketing.

One of our automotive clients, Nissan Canada, requires an individual to work at their headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario (as current public health practices permit, prior to this it will be work from home). This position will be a PRES Innovation consultant and the candidate will work alongside both PRES Innovation and the OEM’s employees. This position will be a contract with PRES Innovation, Inc.

DEALER EXPERIENCE & TECHNOLOGY ANALYST

POSITION SUMMARY

This position supports the development and integration of industry-leading technologies that enhance the customer experience. This role will give you great exposure and the opportunity to interact and collaborate with many areas of Nissan including the Digital marketing team, Chief Marketing Management (product) teams, Aftersales and the Regional teams.

In this role, you will be the primary contact with the product teams to ensure accuracy and timely release of vehicle information and specifications in our customer-facing technologies - including a class-leading proprietary tablet-based application. You will also be managing and coordinating with external vendors the development and adaptation of feature information videos for our YouTube owner channels.

You will be working on the engagement of the dealer network by creating and maintaining regular and ad hoc performance reports and providing insights through analysis on customer satisfaction and ROI. Reviewing and auditing dealer utilization and providing recommendations and/or commentary as required to internal and dealership management.

Solid writing and communication skills are required. Candidate must be bilingual – French and English – so as to independently work with dealerships across Canada and work with content in both languages. The incumbent will be the primary contact for the adaptation and translation quality control of consumer-facing videos. Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required in order to derive appropriate interpretations and building presentations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensuring accuracy of vehicle specifications for new models and model-year updates.

2. Executing daily and monthly use and performance reports.

3. Analyzing application use effectiveness and ROI by correlating against customer satisfaction survey results.

4. Reviewing and auditing dealer utilization to identify any gaming and tampering issues.

5. Reviewing Canadian adaptation of US feature information videos as well as quality of French translations.

6. Preparing and posting of communications and bulletins.

7. Developing and updating PowerPoint presentations, as well as dealership training materials.

8. Primary contact for user phone and e-mail support.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge: Post secondary degree required with an analytical base. This position is suitable for recent graduates.

Experience with business systems, reporting, process improvement and needs analysis (specifically dealership processes and needs would be a definite asset). Experience with process flows, program analysis and implementation, Microsoft Office Professional (pivot tables / v-lookups / charts / PowerPoint) are required. Knowledge of tableau would be an asset.

Automotive experience, retail experience and a passion for cars is preferred.

Interpersonal skills: The position requires internal and external communication. Collaboration and effective listening are required when working with others to provide reports and analysis, and diplomacy is applied in communications arising out of findings. Presentation skills are used weekly within the department.

Complexity and Problem Solving: The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing and auditing dealer utilization to identify any gaming and tampering. Solid analysis and judgement is required in order to provide accurate and substantiated deductions. This requires a comfort level with analysis, excel and reporting.

Strong attention to detail: The Analyst will be providing detailed reports to management and dealers. Quality and accuracy is of the highest importance for reporting, as it is with customer-facing vehicle specification information. The analyst will be reviewing and conducting detailed quality control and verification of customer-facing videos and documentation.
